Background

I spent the past 11 years in the financial services sector – having started my journey at Lloyds Bank as a private banking manager before quickly qualifying as a mortgage adviser in December 2011. Afterwards, I spent the next 5 years gaining knowledge and experience working for the bank, an estate agency and lastly an independent mortgage brokerage.

In December 2016 I felt that I had the necessary grounding and set up my own residential mortgage brokerage ‘Michael Andrew Financial Services Ltd’ offering both regulated and unregulated products to consumers. These financial products consisted of residential mortgages, buy to let, bridging finance and second charges, as well as insurance products covering life insurance, critical illness, income protection and home insurance. In 2021, I joined forces with Scott and Matt and Michael Andrew Financial Services rebranded to Amplo Mortgages and Financial Solutions.
